for 2 nights stay in Amman. Next day, marvel at the antiquities in

Jerash, one of the Decapolis cities of the Roman Empire before
visiting a unique castle of Ajloun in the verdant north of Jordan.
Return to Amman for an abundant Arabic Feast dinner.
Start your trip to the south with a visit of Madaba where you
will see the ancient mosaic Biblical map of the region. Visit the
site on the Jordan River where Jesus was baptized; see Mount
Nebo where Moses viewed the "Promised land." Continue on to
Rose City of Petra where the Nabateans carved elaborate burial
tombs out of the mountains 3,000 years ago. Your exploration of
this amazing site begins with a horse-back ride to the entrance of
the Siq (the narrow gorge which kept this site hidden until
discovered in 1812). Two nights stay in Petra.
